The World Human Resource Congress 2024 will take place from 14 to 16 May 2024:
- 14 May, Tuesday: 9AM to 5:30PM
- 15 May, Wednesday: 8:45AM to 5:35PM
- 16 May, Thursday: 8:45AM to 5PM
Registration Kiosk Opening Hours & Location
The Registration Kiosks will be located at the Foyer on Level 5 of the Convention Centre. Your Speaker Liaison for WHRC2024 will be on standby here to greet you on the first day of the Congress.
Opening hours are as follows:
- 14 May, Tuesday: 7AM to 5PM
- 15 May, Wednesday: 7AM to 5PM
- 16 May, Thursday: 7AM to 12PM
Speaker Lounge & Presentation Uploading
You are invited to enjoy the speaker lounge located on Level 5 of the Convention Centre.
Laptops will be available in the speaker lounge for you to upload your presentations. To expedite the process, please ensure your presentation file is prepared in PPT format on a USB drive beforehand.

Point of Contact
Your assigned Speaker Liaison will be in touch to welcome you to the Congress and assist you with the arrangements on-site. Please look out for a welcome message from them.
You will be guided to the Speaker Lounge by your Speaker Liaison 30 to 45 minutes before your session starts. You will then be ushered to your respective session room to standby 10 to 15 minutes prior to your session.
Audio Visual and Seating
Seating in the Session Room will be Cresent Style, and all Session Rooms will be equipped with:
- One podium and microphone
- Panel seating with microphone(s)
- LCD projector or LED screen
- PC Laptop computer with MS PowerPoint capabilities
- Slide advancer on podium
- Speaker comfort monitor
- Speaker timer
Wi-Fi
Complimentary Wi-Fi will be provided on-site.
Dress Code
Business Casual attire is expected for all sessions at WHRC2024.

Transport & Parking
By MRT:
Sands Expo & Convention Centre is linked directly to Bayfront MRT station (CE1/DT16).
By Taxi/Private Hire:
The drop off location is MBS Sands Convention Centre, L1 Driveway.
Grab is a highly popular ride-hailing service in Singapore, allowing users to book rides conveniently through the Grab mobile app.
Parking Information
The South Carpark is the nearest parking facility to the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Cars may use the entrance along Bayfront Link.
Complimentary Parking coupons are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may reach out to us at [email protected] to request for a parking coupon in advance or let us know on the Congress Day itself.

Arrival Meet & Greet
An Airport transfer has been arranged for your convenience upon arrival at the Singapore Changi Airport.
Upon clearing the immigration, kindly proceed to claim your baggage. Our dedicated Meet & Greet team will be stationed at the Arrival Floor Exit Door, easily identifiable by the WHRC2024 signage. They will assist you promptly to ensure a seamless transition to your selected accommodation.

Please review the flight details that will be sent to you to ensure they are accurate. Should there be any discrepancies in the flight details, please reach out to us as soon as possible at [email protected] with a copy of your e-ticket.
Departure from Singapore
If you are travelling with checked baggage, it is recommended to arrive at the airport 2.5 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart for check-in, security, and baggage drop-off. If you are travelling without checked baggage, it is recommended to arrive 1.5 hours before departure for check-in and security clearance.
VISA
Most visitors to Singapore do not require a visa for entry.

SG Arrival Card
The SG Arrival Card (SGAC) streamlines the entry process for travellers visiting Singapore. Serving as an electronic alternative to traditional paper forms, the SGAC allows visitors to submit their arrival details online before reaching Singapore, ensuring a smoother immigration experience. Travelers provide essential information such as personal details, flight information, accommodation specifics, and the purpose of their visit.
Once approved, the electronic travel authorisation is sent via email in PDF format. Travelers are required to carry a printed copy of the approved SG Arrival Card along with their passport when traveling.
SGAC submission is free of charge. It is mandatory for ALL travellers to submit the SGAC up to 3 days (including the day of arrival) before arrival in Singapore. You may submit the SGAC here: https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard/.

Check-in can be completed at the 24-hour front desk located on Level 1. A credit card may be requested for a deposit fee to cover any incidental expenses such as room service or minbar charges.
- Check-in time is at 3PM. Guests arriving before will be accommodated as rooms become available.

Climate
Singapore is situated near the equator and has a typically tropical climate, with abundant rainfall, high and uniform temperatures, and high humidity all year round. The daily temperature range has a minimum usually not falling below 23-25ºC during the night and maximum not rising above 31-33ºC during the day.
Currency
The official currency of Singapore is the Singapore dollar (SGD).

Tipping
Tipping in Singapore is not expected. Instead, a service charge will normally be added to your bill. The service charge will usually be declared on the menu if you’re in a cafe or restaurant, for example, and is paid directly to the company rather than to an individual member of staff.
Electricity
Singapore uses a three-pin plug socket. The voltage used in Singapore is 220 - 240 volts, A.C.
Local SIM Cards
The major telecommunications companies that provide prepaid SIM cards in Singapore are SIMBA, M1, Singtel, and StarHub. Each offers SIM cards ranging from $10 – $50 for voice + text with enough data (usually 5MB to 30MB) for casual email checking.
